But Sunday afternoon, the attention in the Stadium Club at Big League Dreams has focused on a television show in Frankfurt, Germany. Instead of looking at locations on the baseball diamond, about 60 pairs of eyes focused on the Women's World Cup half a world apart.
They cheered and applauded, and moans and groans, and at the end the audience let out a collective groan as the U.S. women fell to Japan, 3-2, on penalties in the championship game.
