The 22-year-old graduated from Leeds Met University was the center of attention earlier this month when she refereed international men between Norway and Germany in Lillestrom and is delighted to be making its mark in a man's world.
"It's definitely that," she said. "I did my basic memory on it, if there is room for female referees in the professional game.
"I found that while there are women who come through in different areas, much remains to play a man.
"At the amateur level, there is a few female referees, but in the ranks of RLF there are only four or five of us who are classified.
