HOWELL - As the life of Diana Hoffman was out of control last summer, the New Jersey State Police Trooper Marc K. Castellano 's was just taking off.
The two - who had never met - has become forever linked by a tragedy started with lies to Hoffman about a man holding a gun on her while she was driving at lightning speed on the Garden State Parkway evading the police.
It is this lie that Castellano and a team of policemen to Interstate 195 in Howell last June 6 to search for man armed non-existent when the father of 29 years was fatally stuck by one of two passing motorist.
